announcements are further evidence of our strategies to provide customer driven
innovation and quality. We are listening to the market and the car key fob
style PTT and simultaneous multiple pairing of PTTs are very innovative
solutions, whilst re-engineering the RSM 25 remote speaker microphone to our
own high design and manufacturing standards demonstrates how we are putting
quality at the top of our agenda.’

Please visit Savox Communications

Luxembourg – 13th September 2011. Savox Communications will present at DSEI 2011 the latest version its ImP LV (Land Variant) IP command and control system. ImP already has a track record of deployment with Military and Special Forces teams and the new version brings increased functionality for use within land vehicles.

The ImP LV IP mobile platform addresses many of the conventional intercom shortcomings by providing high quality speech in the vehicle cabin environment and total control over the communications landscape. The ImP system is software defined and programmable for maximum flexibility, is easy to use and install and is modular to match various configuration requirements.

At the heart of the solution is a digital, Ethernet backbone. This data highway allows transmission of both voice and data and allows integration with navigation aids, engine management systems and video to facilitate complete command and control of the platform.
ImP features a man wearable Personal control Unit (PCU) making the ‘man’ the communication interface, not the platform. The PCU allows the operator to take control over their voice communications environment with simple and easy to use intuitive controls aided by voice prompts which can also be programmed into local languages. Each user has instant access to two radio PTT’s and is able to operate multiple radios via simple and easy to use menus which can be operated with one hand whilst wearing gloves and travelling at high speeds in rough terrain environments.

The ImP has an adaptive VoX algorithm allowing high quality voice operated communication “heads out” whilst travelling at high speeds. All system units are compact and ergonomic ensuring they can be installed behind vehicle bulkheads or transoms, with minimal impact on crew space.

Flexible and scalable, e.g. for small crews or large vessels, ImP is user configurable and has no system master meaning easy and quick set up.
Carl Morse, Vice President of Savox Communications Defence Solutions, adds “ ImP is already setting the new standards for small vehicle communication systems, which is why we are seeing such interest. This latest Land Variant allows us to penetrate the land vehicle sector even more successfully, with features and capabilities we have included from what we see the market wants.”

Please visit Savox Communications at DSEI 201 on Stand N40-365

Savox Communications launches new Covert wireless radio accessories at TWC 2011

Luxembourg – 24th May 2011. Savox Communications enhances its range of covert professional radio accessory solutions with the launch of several new products including a new remote PTT module which offers simultaneous pairing with multiple wireless PTT’s, a new car key fob style discreet PTT unit and new 2 and 3 wire semi covert kits. Savox Communications products improve the effectiveness of individuals operating in demanding environments and the new products for use in covert and semi covert communications further enhances the breadth of the Savox portfolio.
The new wireless PTT solutions are unique as they offer simultaneous pairing of multiple PTT’s, a ‘highly discreet’ new car key fob PTT for deep covert work and the option of a PTT with Picatinny type mount for firearms use. The new wireless PTTs can be built to work with the existing Savox inductive products which include the LEP 110 Neckloop microphone inductor, the LEP 120 Brooch microphone inductor, the LEP 130 Flexible inductor or with an interference free loop system which all work with the Savox range of covert wireless earpieces.
The new 2 and 3 wire kits are functionally similar to the old ones, but are now are designed, engineered and manufactured in house by Savox Communications, ensuring the highest quality and performance of these premium products. The wire kits include an acoustic tube with replaceable ear inserts and a small microphone PTT unit which can be clipped to clothing. The 3 wire kit also includes an additional cable with a separate miniature PTT.
Andrew McLachlan, Vice President of the Savox Communications Radio Comms business adds, “ The new wireless PTT solutions with simultaneous multiple PTT pairing and the new car key fob style PTT are innovations from Savox which will provide even more solutions for use in deep covert operations where we are seeing increasing interest. At a wider level we are also seeing the market being flooded with cheap imported products and many people are coming to us because buying these products is a false economy when the quality is poor and the products don’t last. Designing and manufacturing our own 2 and 3 wire kits is the first example of our strategy to bring product design and manufacture in house as we have our own design, engineering and manufacturing facilities on three continents. This ensures innovative design and premium quality to ensure our products are the best on the market.”
Please visit Savox Communications at TWC on stand B502
