Savox Communications launches new generation Universal Radio Intercom Controller at TWC 2011

Luxembourg – 24th May 2011. Savox Communications launches a new second generation Universal Radio Intercom Controller (URIC), the URIC CC633-4VPX at TWC 2011. The URIC range from Savox already has a track record of deployment with Military and Special Forces teams and the new version brings additional innovation including voice guided menu controls to allow the user to operate in a variety of modes including the new respirator voice projection mode.
The new URIC CC633-4VPX provides exceptional versatility offering connectivity to a wide range of audio ancillaries to most professional radios, vehicle intercom systems, sensors, mobile/smart telephones and alarms. It is designed for mounted and dismounted operations and is especially suited to the needs of combat troops, police firearms teams and CBRN units.
The Savox URIC system is software controlled for maximum flexibility and future proofing, with each connector including the Savox Intelligent Connector Recognition System (SICRS). This feature automatically configures the parameters to work with each connected device and includes automatic configuration for binaural or mono aural headsets and electret or dynamic microphone operation.
The system is available in a range of customizable configurations, including different numbers of radio and intercom inputs, with or without speaker microphones, different PTT options (Including wireless) and tone signaling. A wide range of ancillaries are also available including single or dual cables. The Voice Projection capability (speaker microphone version only) is for use with respirators, providing clear communications to surrounding people whilst operating in tactical/CBRN environments.
The new voice guided menus aid the ease of operation and configuration whilst operating in difficult environments. The system is compatible with a wide range of headsets from the ultra lightweight Savox HP300 and HP150 in ear headset with Electronic impulse (gun fire) noise protection capabilities.
